What type of inserts are best?

There are so many types of inserts made with so many materials it’s enough to confuse anyone.

1. Hemp - Hemp is a natural fiber which is an extremely absorbent material. Hemp is woven tightly so that it can absorb a lot and hold onto it. Not the quickest absorbing material but boy does it hold a ton. Inserts have traditional sergered edges. These will have a lot of baconing after washing.

2. Cotton Bamboo - Much like hemp it’s a natural fiber so it absorbs a lot and this absorbs it quickly. This material is best paired with Hemp. Inserts have traditional sergered edges. These will have a lot of baconing after washing.

3. Hemp/Cotton Bamboo - These materials together make one amazing insert. Both are natural fibers which will hold SO much pee. With the holding power of Hemp & the quick absorbency of the Cotton Bamboo these are an amazing pair. With 4 layers hemp covered with 2 layers cotton bamboo the baconing is a lot less because they work together as a team!

4. Cotton Bamboo + AWJ - As mentioned above the Cotton Bamboo has quick absorbency and holds well but this insert is different because of 2 reasons. It has 1 layer of Athletic Wicking Jersey on Top which keeps the skin cooler and instead of the traditional serged edges they are sewn with AWJ which makes the “baconing” non existent.
